- rebuilt the sidebar so links sit under **Dashboard**, **Calendar**, **Management** and **Administration**
- moved operational links into the Management submenu and system links into Administration
- added role-focused dashboard blocks for admin/director, managers, drivers and porters
- added a clock-in gate that sends non-admin staff straight to the clock page until they are clocked in
- added a database-backed `time_clock_entries` table and a new `/clock` page
- fixed role coverage so the **manager** role is available in staff management and gets sensible defaults
- reorganised role permissions into grouped read/edit style controls in staff management
